Brewery Freustadt Distribution Center (AT)

Description

Our customer requested an economic and low-risk solution, including a design verification for a 4000 m² industrial slab & 3000 m² pavement for the delivery area. This new distribution centre for the Freistädter Brewery was built in Freistadt/AT. The requirements set by our customers were for the slab to be crack-free and to bear FL2 forklift loads and a 30 kN/m² payload. Contec Fiber created a solution based on our synthetic fibre Fibrofor High Grade in combination with a bottom layer of steel mesh for fixing the floor heating system. The interior slab thickness is 200 mm with a saw cut joint distance of 6 x 6 m. The outside slab with 220 mm thickness and 6 x 6 m field sizes is designed for 40-ton trucks and also consist of a combination of High Grade fibres and bottom layer of steel mesh (Ø6mm – 100 x 100 mm).
