Durable reinforcement

This shortest version of the unique bicomponent synthetic macrofibre Concrix with a textured surface enhances the durability of precast concrete parts and helps to reduce edge chipping due to transport and installation. Concrix DM acts as reinforcement and enhances the impact strength of concrete. Its length and diameter are particularly suitable for use in elements with small dimensions and wall thicknesses.

Concrix DM is the bicomponent macrofibre for concrete reinforcement.

  • Features

    The imprinted surface of Concrix DM provides efficient anchoring in the concrete and guarantees rapid three-dimensional distribution during the mixing process in the matrix. Thanks to its excellent flow behaviour, the macrofibre is easily workable.

  • Dosage

    The dosage guideline for Concrix DM is 2.0 - 10.0 kg per m³ of concrete and can also be used as structural reinforcement. Concrix DM is available in the standard length of 25 mm.

  • Properties

    Material: polyolefins Shape: structured fibre Bulk density: 0.91 g/cm³ Length: 25 mm, tolerance +/- 5% Number of fibres per kg: approx. 240,000 Colour: yellow Acid/alkali resistance: inert Tensile strength: approx. 620 N/mm² E modulus: >10.2 GPa Softening point: approx. 150 °C Diameter: 500 μm

  • Application

    Concrix DM is used for screeds, dry shotcrete and various special applications in concrete construction.
