Challenge
The new exterior area in front of the “Westfields” distribution centre of the “DPD Nederland” logistics company required an economical and long-term solution. A crack-free requirement and high-frequency truck traffic loads have determined the general conditions.
Solution
The solution worked out specified a joint spacing of 8.00 x 4.62 m, which was perfectly planned for pouring concrete using a concrete paver. The client wanted a low-risk solution comprising a high-quality fibre along with static evidence.

Product
Fibrofor Diamond at a dosage of 3.0 kg per m³ of concrete was used to construct the exterior surfaces in the logistics area.
Application
Fibrofor Diamond was used in the loading area of DC Westfields’ new logistics centre. The thickness of the slabs poured was 200 mm.
