Rack foundation Pont Meyer in Zaandam (NL)

Description

Building materials supplier Pont Meyer in Zaandam required new rack foundation beams for storing wood. These foundations have been constructed with synthetic fibre reinforced concrete. These are 300 to 350 mm thick foundations made with C 30/37 concrete and 2.0 kg/m³ Fibrofor Diamond fibres without additional steel reinforcement.

This easy application once again demonstrates the versatility of a synthetic fibre, as well as its economic and ecological advantage compared to steel reinforcement.
