Description

The old gallery system (≈ 2000 m length) had to be repaired/stabilized. Originally steel fibres were planned. But since the gallery will be partly open to the public and sticking out steel fibres can cause injuries, the designer  decided to switch to the synthetic high-performance fibre Concrix ES.

Advantages of Concrix ES Solution:

• Cost savings (almost no steel, lower logistic costs, shorter construction time
• Very high performance (960 Joule after only 7 days in the EFNARC test)
• No corrosion and thus lower future maintenance cost
• Non-creeping-tested fibres according to Austrian regulations
