Residential ecofriendly complexe Plaine-du-Loupe Lausanne (CH)

Description

Plaines du Loup is a new residential district in the city of Lausanne. Walkways and fire department driveways around the residential developments have been constructed with synthetic fibre reinforced concrete. The pavement surface was sandblasted.

In the most exposed areas like pavements or similar infrastructure constructions, the use of synthetic fibre-reinforced concrete is proving to be the sensible measure for saving costs, time and CO₂ and at the same time not having to accept any qualitative or technical disadvantages.
