The most efficient fibres for
underground and civil special engineering works

In shotcrete wet or dry processes, conventional steel reinforcement or steel fibers are replaced by macro synthetic fibers. Various tests according to the EFNARC guidelines by independent test institutes prove the excellent performance of Concrix ES in the wet process. Depending on the shotcrete formulation, 800 J of energy absorption can be achieved at approx. 4.0-5.0 kg/m3. The use of Concrix HS35 is optimal for the dry process. The shorter fiber length as well as the loose packaged fibers enable an easy and therefore homogeneous mixing into the dry mix. Depending on the formulation, up to 850 J of energy absorption can be achieved with 5.0 kg of Concrix HS35 per ton of dry mix.
