Challenge
For the new production and storage hall of Wacker-Neuson in Hörsching, the planner was looking for an efficient and economical solution for the industrial floor. The floor had to meet high demands in terms of evenness and robustness and offer low maintenance requirements.
Solution
Contec Fiber developed a customised solution that met all the requirements. To cover the planned loads, a solution with Fibrofor High Grade was worked out in lieu of the originally planned 25 kg of steel fibres per m³ of concrete. While the industrial floor was being poured, the new concrete exterior surface was also implemented according to a proposal by Contec Fiber. The corrosion-free surface and the increased abrasion resistance were important criteria for the customer.
