In addition to an efficient and durable reinforcement solution, the client required an ecological solution for CO₂ reduction, which is why a design with steel fibres or steel reinforcement was out of the question.
Solution
Contec Fiber developed an extremely attractive plastic fibre solution for the general planners involved. Based on years of experience, our in-house technicians created an economical solution. The client’s demand for easy cleaning of the surfaces was also met.

Fibrofor High Grade at a dosage of 1 kg per m³ of concrete with slight additional edge reinforcement was used to construct the low-joint industrial floors.
Application
Fibrofor High Grade has been used in production, storage and office areas. Depending on the area, the thicknesses of the poured slabs were between 100 - 250 mm.
